How Bastivo works
Two journeys share one set of structured provider records. Buyers use Bastivo to research risk-financing structures and find specialist firms; providers use it to keep their information accurate. Bastivo does not sell, quote or bind insurance, act as a broker or captive manager, or introduce you to anyone you have not asked to meet.
For buyers
- Start where you are. Browse providers by category, solution, industry or domicile, or use the optional AI Assessment if the structure itself is still open. Neither requires an account.
- Inspect and compare. Profiles show the services, industries, solutions and domiciles each firm declares, its verification status and any published reviews. Compare up to four providers side by side without registering; the comparison sets out the facts and does not pick a winner.
- Save your research. Saving providers, building shortlists and naming comparisons require a buyer account, so your research is there when you return.
- Request an introduction when you choose. Signed-in buyers can ask a provider for an introduction. You see what will be shared and must agree before anything is sent. Bastivo does not pass on your details, or your Assessment results, on its own.
For providers
- Claim. A firm claims its profile, which may first have been built from public information. Claiming lets the firm manage the profile; it does not make it verified.
- Complete. Add services, industries, solutions, domiciles, people and case studies. Changes are moderated before they appear publicly, and listings follow the relationships recorded on the profile.
- Verify. Submit evidence for specific items under the provider listing policy. A Verified badge covers those checks, not every credential or service.
- Respond. Reply to introduction requests from buyers and respond to published reviews. Providers cannot approve, edit or remove reviews.
Reviews and ranking
Reviews are moderated before publication, and only published reviews count toward a provider's rating. Organic ranking is calculated from structured data stored on the platform — verification, profile completeness, reviews, experience match and recent activity — and payment has no effect on it. Public pages show qualitative signals such as badges, never a provider's numeric score. See the ranking methodology.
