Bastivo Provider Terms

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

1. Relationship to the Terms of Service

These Provider Terms supplement, and are incorporated into, Bastivo's Terms of Service and apply to a Provider Organization and its Provider Users using the Provider side of the Bastivo Platform. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. In the event of a direct conflict between these Provider Terms and the Terms of Service specifically with respect to Provider functionality, these Provider Terms control; the Terms of Service otherwise continue to apply in full, including its disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.

2. Provider Organizations and Provider Users

A Provider Organization and its public Provider Profile are distinct from the individual Provider User accounts associated with them. A natural person may hold both a Buyer account and a Provider User account. More than one Provider User may be associated with a single Provider Organization, subject to Bastivo's then-current limits on the number of active Provider Users per organization; Bastivo currently limits an organization to ten active Provider Users, and may permit an exception in its discretion. Bastivo does not currently offer differentiated Provider User permission tiers.

3. Claiming a Provider Profile

An authorized representative of a business may claim an existing Provider Profile (including one Bastivo created from public sources, as described in our Provider Listing, Verification & Correction Policy) by submitting the information Bastivo requests to establish their relationship to that business. Claiming a Provider Profile is subject to Bastivo's review and approval; an automated signal, such as a match between the claimant's email domain and the business's website, does not by itself establish a claim or Verified status. Bastivo may request additional evidence reasonably necessary to confirm the claimant's connection to, and authority to act for, the Provider Organization.

4. Provider Representations

By submitting information or content to a Provider Profile, you represent and warrant that: you have the authority to submit that information on behalf of the Provider Organization; you hold or have obtained the necessary rights and licenses to submit any logos, media, or other content you provide; the information you provide is materially accurate and not misleading; you have not knowingly misstated any license, membership, certification, or regulatory status; you will update the Provider Profile to reflect material changes; and you will not submit unlawful, infringing, misleading, or confidential third-party content without authorization.

Bastivo does not independently validate every factual statement a Provider submits. Statements regarding a Provider's licenses, certifications, regulatory status, services, jurisdictions, capabilities, or experience remain the Provider's own responsibility, and Bastivo's publication of that information does not constitute Bastivo's verification or endorsement of its accuracy except to the extent expressly described as Verified under Section 6.

5. Provider Content License

The Provider retains ownership of the content it submits to its Provider Profile ("Provider Content"), including logos, descriptions, case studies, and other materials. The Provider grants Bastivo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, technically modify or reformat, display, publish, and distribute Provider Content within the Platform, and to use it to operate and promote the associated Provider Profile. This license does not transfer ownership of Provider Content to Bastivo and is limited to operating and promoting the Provider's presence on the Platform.

6. Verification

Claiming and verification are separate statuses. Verification is controlled by Bastivo and is never established by an automated signal alone. Full detail on the verification process, re-verification, and the meaning of the Verified badge is set out in our Provider Listing, Verification & Correction Policy, which is incorporated into these Provider Terms by reference.

Verified means Bastivo has confirmed the claimant's ownership of, or authorized relationship to, the Provider Profile and has completed Bastivo's verification review process. It is not a guarantee of quality, solvency, regulatory compliance, suitability, financial strength, or performance, and it does not constitute regulatory accreditation, certification, insurance coverage, or an endorsement of the Provider's fitness for a particular Buyer's needs.

7. Ranking and Commercial Influence

Bastivo does not offer paid ranking, and no payment or other commercial arrangement affects a Provider Profile's placement in organic search or listing results. Claiming a Provider Profile does not by itself improve that placement. A Profile's current Verified status is one of several factors in Bastivo's published ranking methodology; verification does not guarantee any particular placement, and a Profile whose verification has expired or been revoked no longer benefits from that factor. Bastivo does not currently offer paid listing, subscription, premium placement, or sponsored-placement functionality. Where Bastivo describes a Provider using comparative language, such as "Best" or "Top," that language reflects Bastivo's published, explainable, non-monetary ranking methodology as applied to structured profile data; it is not a guarantee of outcome, a regulatory endorsement, or a representation that the Provider is the right choice for a particular Buyer. Bastivo does not publicly disclose the exact weighting of its ranking factors.

8. Reviews

Reviews of a Provider are governed by Bastivo's Review Policy, which is incorporated into these Provider Terms by reference. A Provider may dispute the factual accuracy of a review or use the applicable moderation or appeal process described in the Review Policy, but may not require Bastivo to remove a review merely because the review is negative, and does not have editorial control over independently submitted review content.

9. Provider Profile Lifecycle; Individual Account Deletion

A Provider Organization and its public Provider Profile are legally and functionally separate from any individual Provider User's personal account. A Provider Organization or its public Provider Profile cannot be deleted through a self-service action. A Provider User may delete their own individual user account at any time as described in the Terms of Service. Doing so does not delete, hide, archive, or "unclaim" the associated Provider Organization or Provider Profile.

If the individual Provider User deleting their account is the last remaining authorized Provider User associated with a Claimed Provider Organization, the Provider Profile remains live and Claimed and enters an access-recovery process pending a new authorized representative completing the applicable ownership-recovery and verification steps. The Provider Profile does not automatically become Unclaimed and does not automatically disappear.

A Provider may request that Bastivo correct, restrict, archive, merge, or remove its Provider Organization or Provider Profile by submitting a request through the applicable support or correction channel described on the Platform, or to privacy@bastivo.com where the request concerns privacy or personal data. Bastivo reviews these requests manually. Submitting a request is a request for Bastivo's review; it is not an automatic entitlement to removal, and Bastivo will determine the appropriate outcome — which may include correction, restriction, archiving, merging, or removal — in its discretion, consistent with applicable law. There is no separate, automated, self-service company-deletion workflow.

10. Suspension and Enforcement

Bastivo may suspend or restrict a Provider User's access or a Provider Profile's status for violation of these Provider Terms, the Terms of Service, or Bastivo's other applicable policies, or where Bastivo otherwise reasonably determines suspension is appropriate. A suspension is not subject to an automatic hard expiry; Bastivo reviews an active suspension no later than ninety days after it begins, and again at each subsequent ninety-day interval for as long as the suspension continues, to determine whether it remains appropriate.
